Quality control
I don’t understand why we as consumers, a companies bread and butter, can not get what we ordered anymore. I order something from a catalog and the item comes in a damaged box or comes missing parts. I am glad my little girl isn’t asking for her toy yet because they didn’t pack all of the hardware. I am glad because of someone’s cheapness I didn’t have to look into the tear filled eyes of my four year old and tell her that she couldn’t play with her toy yet. I go into a fast food restaurant and since most of the servers lately don’t seem to understand English (which will be a topic for another post) and I always seem to end up getting less than what I ordered. I also seem to have to deal with explaining my order 5 or 6 times just to get the order completed properly if I do not want to deal with only getting half of what I ordered any way. Now a days you go into a store and you want to buy a product and usually no one in the store can help you or even know what it is that they are supposed to know. You stand on line to pay for something and there are 15 people on line and only 1 cashier. Why is it that we have to deal which such substandard service. You go into a department store and there are no sales girls or stock persons to help you. I think it is a sad state of affairs when you have to spend hours on the net to just find out what you could have just by talking to a live human being. I am disgusted at how much money someone will save just by being cheap with service. I would love to hear from all who share my opinion. Sales are down because quality is at an all time low. you can buy a DVD player for 60 dollars, or a coffee maker for 10 because items like these and others are pretty much use and toss. Nothing is made to last anymore either. My mother had a stove years ago that lasted for about 15 years. now she has another one that barely lasted a year before it started to fail. what can we do?
