Todays Issues

Published by gillandro at 7:25 am under politics Edit This

It will be interesting to see how today’s political climate pans out. I wonder how things would have turned out if Hillary would have garnered the democratic nomination for president. If she would have went all the way would she have taken Obama as part of her cabinet? I often felt that she had no right to be a senator from ny since she wasn’t living in ny long enough to be able to tell me, a native New Yorker, what is best for my state. It is a sad state of affairs. I am not harboring any bad feelings towards our president elect of course. I am glad to see someone rise up and do what no other could. I just hope however, that his presidency is about the issues and that it has no color. If we shift over to a different issue which I find distaste with, a Kennedy trying to fill that monster sillery crookton’s (my opinion) senate seat. I am glad that I now live in New jersey because I won’t have to see, and even as a New Jerseyite will never have to see a Kennedy in office again. I looked it up on the net and can’t seem to figure out what bobby Kennedy did that was so important, Even JFk, who was in no stances a war hero as he got a medal of honor even though his boat sank. Ted Kennedy is to this day referred to as the swimmer due to the lake Chappaquiddick affair where he left a woman for dead as their car went into the lake. Now we have Caroline Kennedy gunning for Mrs. Slick Willy’s senate seat. I hope I don’t see the day, or is it already here, where the vote that I cast means less than the paper that the ballots are written on. Maybe I am just a pessimist but I can’t handle the thought of another member of that cursed family being in office. I again Tip my hat to Obama. I was planning on voting for Colin Powell when he was originally running for office, I just wish they wouldn’t have scared him out of the running as a decorated war hero, and a good statesman he would have made a fine president. Who knows maybe Mrs. Rice will run in four years herself and add another notch to breaking barriers. Good luck to her.

politics sucks especially interrupting our shows when everything can be said on the news or in news papers.
I hold no interest in them much really due to the fact that they never shut up about it. But you got a point and glad some still take interest in this stuff.
